A Sydney social media agency for local businesses and brands. We run your social accounts, creator (KOL/KOC) campaigns and paid social, plus WeChat and 小红书 for Chinese-Australian customers. In English and Chinese, month-to-month, no lock-in.
Riseo is a social media and influencer marketing agency based in Sydney. We plan and produce content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn, run creator campaigns with KOLs and KOCs, and manage WeChat and 小红书 (Xiaohongshu, also known as RED or RedNote) for businesses that want Chinese-Australian customers. The team works in English and Chinese, so one agency can run both sides of your social presence, with one brand voice and one monthly report.
Most of our Sydney clients have a physical front door: clinics, salons, restaurants, car dealerships, education providers and shops. For these businesses, social media is where a new customer decides whether you look trustworthy, busy enough and worth the trip. We build accounts that answer those questions first, then use creators and paid social to put that content in front of people who live, work or shop near you. We meet Sydney clients in person and report in plain English.
Each month we plan a content calendar, write captions in your voice, design graphics and edit short-form video from footage you send or that we shoot. We post, reply to comments and DMs, and send a plain-English report on what grew and what brought in enquiries. Most Sydney businesses get more from a few well-run platforms than from an account on every app, so we start where your customers already spend their time. The full scope is on our social media management service page.
People trust recommendations from creators they already follow. We shortlist creators by audience fit and real engagement, write the briefs, handle contracts, approvals and payments, and track what each post brings in. For a local business, a handful of Sydney-based KOCs who visit, try the service and post about it honestly often does more than a single large account, because their followers live close enough to book. Read how we run influencer and KOL marketing campaigns.
We set up, verify and run WeChat Official Accounts and 小红书 accounts, with content written in Chinese by our own team. That covers weekly posts, comment and DM replies, and creator notes seeded on 小红书, so people searching for your category find real customer experiences. Scope and pricing are on our WeChat and Xiaohongshu marketing service page.
Meta ads on Facebook and Instagram put your best posts and creator content in front of a defined audience, by area, age, language and interest. We use paid social to test an offer fast, to fill bookings around a launch, and to keep good content working after the first wave of organic reach. On E3 Energy's bilingual campaign, Meta lead ads produced 294 leads. Read the E3 Energy case.
T32 Dental is a family-friendly dental clinic that launched in Sydney. Dental is a trust-first category, and a new clinic has no patients or reviews to lean on, so we built its 小红书 account before the doors opened. We produced short dental health explainers featuring the clinic's own specialists, filmed the grand opening with kids, parents and the team, and invited 5 vetted creators to try services such as a teeth clean and document them honestly. Every shoot was scripted in advance and reviewed before publishing. Bookings came through from launch week, and the account became the clinic's front door for new patients. Read the T32 Dental case study, or our dental and clinic marketing page.
Top Trend is a Sydney beauty brand in one of the most crowded feeds on social media. It wanted local customers for a scalp therapy service that is hard to show on camera and had to look both appealing and clinically credible. We shot slow-motion product close-ups and real before-and-after results, partnered with creators who brought reach and credibility, and layered the content across 小红书, Instagram and TikTok. A post went viral across 小红书 and Instagram, and the salon saw bookings pick up during the campaign window. Read the Top Trend case study.
LSH Auto Australia, the country's largest Mercedes-Benz retail group, runs WeChat and 小红书 with us across six Mercedes-Benz and smart dealerships in three cities: Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. We write dealership-specific promotions, model launch content and after-sales guides for WeChat, and built a separate 小红书 presence for smart, the all-electric brand, aimed at younger Chinese-Australian buyers. Around 1.4 million people in Australia have Chinese ancestry, according to the census, and Sydney has some of the largest communities in the country, with Chatswood, Hurstville, Eastwood, Burwood and Rhodes among the busiest centres. Each area has its own mix of families, students and young professionals, and its own set of restaurants, clinics, tutors and shops. The businesses that do well there make content for the people who live and shop nearby, in the language they use day to day.
Discovery mostly starts on 小红书. People search it the way they search Google, with a suburb and a category, for example "Chatswood 美甲" for a nail salon or "Hurstville 牙医" for a dentist, then read notes from people who have already been. The notes that get saved are specific and recent: prices, what to order or book, how long the wait was, what the room looks like. A business with no notes, or only its own polished ads, looks like a risk next to one that several locals have written about.
WeChat does a different job. It is where the relationship continues after the first visit: an Official Account for news and offers, a WeChat contact for bookings and questions, and the family and community group chats where recommendations get passed on. For clinics, tutoring centres and dealerships, repeat visits and referrals often come through WeChat.
For a local service business, a few things tend to work. Seed 小红书 before you need it, with honest notes from nearby KOCs who visit and pay attention to detail. Write Chinese content for each platform from scratch, because translated English captions read as ads. Make booking easy for someone more comfortable in Chinese, with a WeChat contact or a booking link that works in Chinese. Keep your Google Business Profile accurate, since many people check Google Maps for opening hours and directions before they visit. T32 Dental followed this approach before it opened. There is more detail on our Chinese marketing agency in Sydney page.
Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute session. We look at where your customers spend time, what nearby competitors post, and which platforms are worth your budget. From there we write a plan: the platforms, a monthly content calendar, a creator shortlist if creators are part of it, and the numbers we will report on. Each month we create and post content, brief and manage creators, reply to comments and DMs, and run paid social where it helps. You approve everything before it goes live, and you get a plain-English report on what grew, what brought in enquiries and what changes next month.
Social media management costs $1,000 to $3,000 a month for most businesses, depending on the number of platforms and how much video is involved. Growth-stage brands sit at $3,000 to $5,500 a month, and established multi-platform brands at $6,000 to $9,000 a month. WeChat or 小红书 management is priced separately: from $3,000 a month for a single platform, $5,000 to $9,000 a month for both, and a one-off $4,000 to $8,000 for account setup and verification. Creator campaigns are scoped to your budget.
Every retainer is month-to-month with no lock-in. You can pause or leave with 30 days notice, and you keep the accounts and content we make for you. Social media gets you discovered. Search is where people check you before they book. After someone sees a creator post about your clinic or salon, the next step is often a Google search for your business name or a look at your Google Maps listing. We keep your Google Business Profile accurate, ask happy customers for reviews, and fix the SEO basics on your website so that check matches what people saw on social. For Wiselink, an accounting firm, our SEO work lifted search impressions 35% in the first week, took its Lighthouse SEO score from 42 to 92 and moved a key ranking from 14 to 8. See our SEO and Google Business Profile service, or find Riseo on Google.
Free 30-minute session: where your customers spend time on social, what local competitors are doing, which creators fit your brand, and a realistic plan for your first few months. No pitch deck, no obligation.
